A Month of Growth, Connection & Winter Fun

Built for Connection, Community & Collaboration

Hi,

This last month has been a mix of business growth, incredible connections, and embracing the joys of winter with my family. As I continue to help families and investors navigate real estate opportunities, I’ve been having powerful conversations with real estate professionals, entrepreneurs, and those looking to take control of their financial futures. Seeing people move closer to their goals never gets old!

Beyond real estate and consulting, I’ve been diving deeper into my Master of Ceremonies (MC) journey, loving every opportunity to bring energy and engagement to events. It’s amazing how a well-run event can elevate an experience, and I’m excited to bring that magic to even more stages.

And while business has been full steam ahead, I’ve also been making time for what truly matters—family and fun! Winter has given me the perfect excuse to get outside with my little ones (3 ½ and 1 ½ years old). Whether it’s tobogganing down snowy hills, lacing up skates for a glide on the ice, or just soaking in the joy of seeing them discover winter fun, these moments remind me why I do what I do.

The balance of business, personal growth, and family time is always a work in progress, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.

How’s your year shaping up so far?

What’s been keeping you inspired lately?

Get in touch—I’d love to hear!

Until next month, make it a great day!

5 Ways to Engage Attendees and Build Lasting Connections at Your Next Event

In today’s fast-paced world of events, simply handing out a business card is no longer enough to leave a lasting impression.

Whether you’re hosting a corporate conference, networking meetup, or social gathering, the goal is to create an environment where attendees have the opportunity to forge meaningful connections.

Here are five interactive strategies to ensure your next event goes beyond the ordinary and leaves everyone inspired and connected.

Where’s Alfonso?

People have been asking about my brand logo and I recently posted on social media the thoughts behind its design.

The logo embodies a powerful message of balance and purpose. The angular design reflects the strength and structure necessary to juggle multiple facets of life — family, health, contribution and connection while adapting to inevitable challenges and new opportunities through personal growth.

The interplay of the "A" and "S" not only represents my initials but also conveys a sense of unity and interconnectedness between these life elements.

The boldness of the logo speaks to my individuality, determination, and willingness to stand out while staying grounded in my core values and beliefs. It’s a visual reminder of my resilience, ambition, and the unique path I am carving.

Making Meaningful Connections starts with these three pillars:

  • Connect: Build rapport and set the tone from the start. First impressions matter—make them count!

  • Community: Foster a sense of belonging and shared purpose. Events thrive when people feel they’re part of something meaningful.

  • Collaborate: Encourage active participation and idea-sharing. Great events happen when everyone contributes.

Meaningful impact begins with connection, grows through community, and thrives in collaboration.

Do you want to know how that translates to having me speak or facilitate one of your events? Book a call and I can tell you more.

I Was Thinking……

I was excited last week for the start of the Formula 1 season. Unfortunately, Lewis Hamilton did not kick off his time with Ferrari with a win, but it’s early days!

The start of a new Formula 1 season is more than just a fresh set of races—it’s the result of months (or even years) of planning, testing, and refining. Like running a business, success in F1 isn’t just about raw speed; it’s about strategy, adaptability, and teamwork.

In both business and racing, preparation is everything. F1 teams spend the off-season fine-tuning their cars, analyzing data, and making strategic hires. A business, too, needs to constantly evolve—whether it’s improving products, refining operations, or hiring the right people. The work behind the scenes determines how well you perform when the pressure is on.

Whether on the track or in business, the goal is the same: stay ahead of the competition, make smart decisions under pressure, and never stop improving. The checkered flag goes to those who are ready to adapt, innovate, and push forward—lap after lap.

Are you running your business like a great Formula 1 team?
