An Eight-Step Event Playbook

Built for Connection, Community & Collaboration

Hi,

The missing piece in most event strategies isn’t logistics or tech—it’s heart.

I learned that from my Nonna Maria, who could light up a room with nothing more than presence, warmth, and a well-timed story.

Great events aren't just planned; they’re felt. As a speaker and MC, I bring that same intention to every stage: to connect, to uplift, and to leave people feeling like they belong. Because when you lead with heart, the strategy takes care of itself.

Until next month,

Alfonso

An Eight-Step Event Playbook for Professional Associations

For professional associations, events aren't just a line on the calendar, they’re a chance to deepen engagement, spark connection, and remind members why they joined in the first place.

But it doesn’t happen automatically.

If your events are informative but not transformative, it might be time to shift the focus from content delivery to community-building.

We just published a practical guide on how to do exactly that—packed with ideas you can apply to your next conference, networking event, or AGM.

Where’s Alfonso?

It’s been a high-impact month filled with exciting momentum! From hosting dynamic events as an MC to guiding families through the rent-to-own process, every day has been about connection and purpose.

I’ve been locking in new speaking opportunities, building out my next rent-to-own strategy workshop, and deepening relationships across the real estate and event space. One constant through it all? Bringing the heart and presence my Nonna taught me, because strategy means nothing without soul.

If you’re planning an event, want to collaborate, or just want to chat about creating unforgettable experiences, let’s connect and book a call. I’d love to hear what you're working on!

I Was Thinking……

My Nonno (Grandad) never held a microphone in his life. But he was one of the best MCs I’ve ever seen.

He didn’t need a stage to command a room.

He greeted every guest by name, with a handshake or a hug. He set the tone the moment they walked through the door—warm, welcoming, and full of joy.

He made everyone feel like they mattered, like they belonged. And when it was time to pass the spotlight or the second plate of pasta, he did it with generosity and grace.

That’s where I learned what being a great host means.

Now, when I step on stage as an MC or facilitator, I bring that same spirit.

It’s not about being the loudest voice or cracking the most jokes (although I do like to tell them). It’s about creating a space where people feel seen, comfortable, and connected. Where energy flows and conversations spark.

Hospitality is a superpower. It builds trust. It brings people together. It turns audiences into communities.

And I learned it from the best.

How Can I Help?

People know I am passionate about making connections and collaborating. Whether you're aiming to boost business growth or create an impactful event, let's set up a call to connect, I would love to help.
